What a way to spend the New Year!
On the morning of New Years Eve, we headed to the airport to fly to Hawaii.
To start the trip off right, Darren and I took the boys to the Delta Sky Club - something Caleb has wanted to do for years. And according to him, it lived up to the hype!
We made it to Maui and the adventure started.
We met up with the Burns and Johnsons - and all together, we were a group of 18.
Caleb and Noah were in heaven with all those kids to hang with!
The first day we were there, we went on this crazy, epic hike.
We had to hike through a bamboo forest, up a river, climb up a ladder mysteriously attached to a cliff face before free climbing up a waterfall to get to yet another waterfall
This is definitely something Darren and I never would have done if we were on our own!
We hit up various beaches over the week.
Went on a snorkeling boat trip to Molokini and saw all sorts of whales.
Hit up food trucks and swap meets.
Saw turtles and played in the sand.
Got in one date night for dinner with just the adults for Camille's birthday.
On our last day there, the dads biked Haleakala. Crazy.
Meanwhile, the moms managed the 12 kids!!
The boys can't wait to go on another "work trip" with the Burns and Johnsons.
