Freakishly large

By request, I am posting some pictures of Darren's freakishly large arm. For those of you who don't know, Darren has had bursitis in his elbow for years. But over the last year, his arm, not his elbow, has been swelling. He finally went to an orthopaedic surgeon which has led to the MRI that Darren is getting today.

We've had the MRI scheduled for almost a week now . . . but last night I came home from the gym to find this:

If you can't read it - it says "Call me ASAP! I am going to emergency room for elbow. Bumped it bad. Love you!"

So I dashed over to the ER and joined Darren in the waiting room. Here is a shot of his arms

Long story short, the doctor there couldn't do much for him except encourage him to get the MRI today. We'll see how the MRI goes and hope that Darren's freakishly large arm will fit in the machine :)

thanks for appeasing the masses and posting this (ok not the masses, just us :) ) let us know how it goes! (ps. "what happens in vegas' was actually pretty cute despite bad reviews)

Oh my gosh! OH MY GOSH! That's horrible! Is it painful? And I hope the MRI went okay.

But it made for a good blog post, eh?

Not good! How did it turn out?
I hear your parents sold their home? Further from you guys, but closer our way! Maybe we'll see you more often!

What a fun note to come home to. I hope Darren feels okay!

Have you seen that episode of "King of Queens" where there is a portrait made of Carrie with a freakishly big arm? It is hilarious and now I will think fondly of Darren next time I watch it...

Hey Marni, yes it is me the worst and most inconsistent vt ever, sorry about that. Anyway, Darren told Zach you had a blog with the pictures of his elbow and so I found you. I hope he finally got the mri done and figured out. We hope he is feeling better because that has got to hurt. Remember call me if you need anything.
