Does it count?

Yesterday, Caleb rolled over from his tummy on to his back. I got all excited. Darren on the other hand says that it doesn't count because Caleb's arm was under him and provided the leverage needed to roll over. For him it won't be official until Caleb is able to roll with both arms to his sides.

Here is the video of the alleged roll-over incident . . . (you may want to turn down the volume on the video or you will hear me laughing quite loud)

What do you think?

dear darren: babies do not roll with both arms glued to their sides like a seal...they will always use arms for leverage. so i say it counts :)

Totally valid! My 5 month old doesn't even roll over that good!

I love the Darci Darren conversation, Matt would have said the same thing!! I for one think it is totally valid! The first roll over, and you got it on film!!

Okay, I too love the Darren/Darci conversation. (And Darren, Joe isn't allowed to do dinner theater, so I totally get where you're coming from!). But, yes, it counts. He totally knew what he was doing! What a smart boy.

That roll totally counts.

And yes, I probably would have said Marni was right even if little Caleb didn't really roll over on his own.
