The best thing about him being 5 months old is that we are only a month away from the 6 month mark when we can finalize the adoption!!! We have our appointment with the adoption attorney scheduled and the final post-placement visit with the social worker lined up. It came a lot sooner than we expected it would.
At 5 months, Caleb now has 2 teeth - the second one appearing over the last week or so. He LOVES rice cereal - he grunts happily all throughout the messy feeding. He is under the impression that he should be sitting up like mom & dad - when he is laying on his back he is continuously straining his neck and stretching his arms trying so hard to sit. He loves the song Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree - it makes him giggle, especially when you do the hand motions. I could go on, but I'll cut it short.
The last 5 months have been truly amazing and we are thankful for every moment we have with our little guy.
