Easter Weekend 2010

Grandma and Grandpa Richards invited us up to their cabin near Mirror Lake for Easter weekend. Caleb was spoiled by having the grandparents around - he gets much more attention than he does with just mom and dad around.

It was beautiful up there - we probably got almost a foot of snow throughout the 3 days we were there. We thought we better get Caleb exposed to the snow and get our Louisiana baby used to the cold. He didn't seem to mind it much . . .

Nice family pic :)

Gotta get the boy used to the "toys" - he had his first snowmbile ride as dad pulled one into the garage.

Our little snow angel . . . please ignore the somewhat girlie snowsuit

Caleb experienced his first Easter . . . it was pretty anticlimatic. He was excited to reach for his basket, but of course the grass was what he went for instead of the rubber duckies for bath time.

The first Downs Family Easter

Then we have a couple of random pictures from the last couple of weeks.

Our boy has yet to not like any kind of baby food we put in his mouth. He had no problem downing the carrots.

Mom and Caleb heading out for a walk. It's a little more exercise for mom to lug around a 17 pound baby on her chest versus pushing a stroller :)

Caleb LOVES his jumper. He is in it for hours a day. We love this picture cause he's just chillin' with his arms all folded. What a handsome boy!

With all that snow it looks like you should be celebrating Christmas not Easter. And I see Darren did get his basket too.

I would say it is about time for a neighborhood cabin trip..Not to invite myself or anything. Looks like a ton of fun. Man that kid is adorable. (by the way this is matt)
