It's been a busy holiday season this year. My younger sister and her family came up from Texas for Christmas so we were able to join them in some holiday activities. The first activity being Grandma and Grandpa Richards taking the grandkids to Build a Bear. To sum it up, it was . . . an experience :) The good thing is that Caleb loves his little "Ruff Ruff"

The next night, we braved the cold and went to This is the Place Heritage Park to experience an "old time Christmas". If you look really really close, you can see me and Caleb standing next to a reindeer!

Again, no reaction when sitting on Santa's lap(in this setting he was "Father Christmas" as we were corrected by the "Postmaster" who told my nephew that he hadn't received his letter to Santa . . . smooth, huh). He just stared. Kudos to the Santa for trying, but Caleb just wasn't gonna give him a smile . . . or a frown.
We spent Christmas Eve at my parents house - Caleb had a blast with his cousins and Grandpa Richards
The family's stockings filled with care :)
Caleb got a "Cozy Coup" from Grandma and Grandpa Richards. He did not want to get out of the car . . . once we finally got him out, we had to hide it so he'd forget about it. Unfortunately, we still are hiding it around the house as Darren and I cannot push him around from dawn to dusk as he would prefer. We bring it out for a few minutes, push him around, then one of us takes him in to a different room while the other one hides the car. Sad, I know.
Darren and I got Caleb a wagon. We are big into walks and we figured a wagon would be a more fun mode of transportation than a stroller when we go on walks this summer. We had to take it out for a test drive of course and braved the 30 degree weather - Caleb didn't seem to mind the cold.
Caleb has been trying to get outside all winter as he loves being outdoors. We finally bundled him up in snow pants and boots and let him play in the snow for the first time. He LOVED it.
Unfortunately, his favorite thing to do while playing in the snow was eating it . . . what can you do . . .
