Post Christmas Cabin Trip

The week after Christmas, we headed up to my parents cabin with my parents and my sister and her family. It was great - the only problem was that it was FREEZING. We're talking single digits during the day and twenty below at night. So, the kids were a little cooped up as it was too cold to spend much time playing in the snow.

Grandma and Grandpa were on high demand the whole time. Luckily Grandpa can handle holding 2 at a time!

To keep themselves occupied, Caleb and his cousin Kate, made a little bear carving into their playmate :) They gave the bear (and each other) hugs and kisses. Caleb wouldn't leave the poor bear alone.





You can't tell - but that is me and Darren before an adventurous snowmobiling ride. I think I bruised Darren by hanging on to him so tightly!

It was definitely fun to get away and spend time with family. Usually I am all for snow and winter, but I am so looking forward to spring/summer and some warmth!
