20 people? Is that all?

We had the chance to go on a trip with my ENTIRE family in June. That meant, my parents, my 2 sisters and their spouses and my brother and his wife . . . and all the children of these siblings. In total, there were 20 of us - 10 adults and 10 children with the oldest being 10 years old. I know I was apprehensive about it - but it went surprisingly smooth :)

We stayed in 2 houses on the beach that both had pools. It was an ideal situation for as many people as we had. We swam all day - even when it was raining . . . which it did a lot. But the kids were such great sports and just kept playing through the rain.

One of the days we went out on a snorkling expedition. Caleb wanted to sit with Grandpa the whole time, which is pretty normal. He isn't used to sharing Grandpa since he's the only grandchild that lives in Utah.

Our boat ride was quite the adventure. As I mentioned, it rained most of the time we were there . . . so we knew we could get rained out. But I don't think we planned for the intense little storm that hit us. Most of the group was out of the boat snorkling when we got hit with a crazy storm. Me, my mom, and my younger sister were the only adults on the boat with a handful of kids including a 9 month old. There was little to no shelter and the pelting rain was harsh. It's one of those "you had to be there" stories, but just know it was CRAZY.

Caleb became such a good swimmer while we were there. No fear in this kid. He would just jump in!

We tried taking some family shots and here is what we got :)

Overall it was a great trip and the 6 hour layover in Houston wasn't as bad as I absolutely knew it was going to be.

That trip sounded like so much fun even if it did rain the whole time! You are so lucky to have your family and to be able to have experiences like this one! Caleb is such a kick! CUTE little guy:-)
