I have decided that once you have kids, holidays are no longer just a one day gig. They last for days as exemplified by Easter this year. Caleb got to do 3 Easter egg hunts . . . which meant 3 times the candy and other fun stuff that comes along with the festivities.
Before the Easter egg hunts occur, there is the Easter egg dyeing that must take place. I decided to be brave this year and have Caleb dye eggs for the first time. He actually did pretty well considering . . . thankfully the dye faded off my hands over the following days :)
You can see the fear in my eyes . . .
Because we were doing Easter with both of our families - one on Saturday afternoon and one on Sunday afternoon, the Easter Bunny had to come to our house on Saturday morning. Easter egg hunt #1 . . .
Yes, the Easter bunny went a little overboard this year . . .
(I don't want the Easter Bunny to get any flack for getting my musical child a guitar . . . it was like $20 at Walmart)
After a mid-day nap, it was time to head to Grandma Lu's house for a family Easter get together. Easter egg hunt #2 . . .
Then Grandma Lu gave all the kids Easter buckets :)
Thanks Grandma Lu!
Caleb and his cute cousin Addie :)

Just the handsome boys
On to Sunday! We went to Grandma and Grandpa's on Sunday afternoon. So ensues Easter egg hunt #3 . . .
Thanks Grandma Cathy and Grandpa Joel!
Happy Easter to all!!
