Quick Getaway

Darren and I had the chance for a quick getaway to NYC.  Darren had a work conference there and I got to accompany him and leave the kids home!!  We did the typical tourist things - walked around Time Square and 5th Avenue, Rockerfeller Center, etc.  Our hotel was close to Battery Park - here's the awesome view from our hotel room!

 The conference Darren attended hosted a dinner on the floor of the NYSE - red carpet style!

 The day we left we were able to fit in a cruise around the southern edge of Manhattan.  We had perfect weather for the excursion.

 I'd say it was a successful trip - mom and dad got some time off and the kids were still alive when we got home!!
