We went with some friends to the Treehouse Museum in Ogden for their Halloween Event. Caleb was just excited to wear his policeman costume for the first time. He'd been dying to wear it since like August when I bought the patches and had my mom sew them on an old church shirt of his. And the Dollar Store had all these great accessories like handcuffs and a detectives ID badge . . . unfortunately he wouldn't wear the policeman hat i bought him :( Noah looked great in his old school Batman costume - he wasn't a fan of the mask, but the cape was pretty cool!
We decided that Caleb was aware enough at age 4 that pumpkin carving is part of Halloween so Darren and I bucked up and did it. Neither Darren or I are artists, so our cut outs are pretty basic. I'm sure our skills will be put more to the test in the coming years.
Another outing to our church Trunk or Treat activity.
For some reason, Caleb befriended a lady at the Trunk or Treat who happened to be into Martial Arts and who happened to have real swords in her car. And of course Caleb asked to see them . . . which lead to her offering to let him hold them. These were some serious swords - and slightly frightening that she just kept them in the trunk of her car . . .
Caleb's preschool had a Halloween party followed by a small Trunk or Treat with the parents.

On Halloween night, we headed to Grandma Lu's house to have dinner and go trick or treating with the cousins. None of the pics turned out great, but here are a couple to show we tried :)
Thankfully Halloween is over for another year. Unfortunately, Caleb has wanted to wear his policeman uniform every day since Halloween . . . we'll see how long it stays around before it mysteriously disappears!!
