We had a wonderful Christmas in 2013. It's been a little crazy since we are between homes at the moment, but the kids handled it great and Christmas was a blast!
We waited in line in the freezing cold for almost an hour to see Santa Clause - but it was worth it. He was an awesome Santa and spent about 2 minutes with each kid and really talked to them. Caleb just lit up while talking to Santa . . . Noah, well, he just sort of sat and stared - I think he only sat on Santa's lap because Caleb did it and he wants to do everything that Caleb does :)
We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning at my parents house. My younger sister and her family were there so the kids got to play with their cousins.
Hot tubbing on Christmas Eve? Yes, please!
Caleb and Will got out multiple times and got in the snow quick before bolting back into the warm water. Crazy kids!
Sitting and watching the Nativity
Grandma Cathy made all the kids reindeer PJ bottoms.
Christmas morning was hectic but tons of fun. Santa did pretty good :) So did Mom and Dad!
Caleb asked Santa for a green trumpet and guess who came through? Grandma and Grandpa Richards! He played it so much his lips started to bleed!
Then we headed North to spend the afternoon with the Downs side of the family. The kids were pretty tired at this point, so the smiles are fewer and far between, but we really had a great time!
Phew - it was a long but good day!! Merry Christmas!
