Yippee for Spring visits to my parents cabin. We spent Mother's Day weekend at the cabin with my mom . . . and dad :) The boys love going with Grandma and Grandpa to the cabin - they keep my parents busy playing games and playing pretend. My parents are always worn out after cabin trips with us :)
Unfortunately, Caleb had a little accident due to an unforeseen collision with a table :( After the crying and freaking out stopped, he seemed pretty pleased with his "goose egg".
At Christmas, I ordered some fake mustaches for the kids to mess around with. Caleb happened to find what remained of those and had a heyday wearing them around all weekend.
Noah was just happy to be there. He LOVES Grandpa. He would just sit on the couch and watch TV with Grandpa.
We were brave and ventured down to the river to throw rocks. It was 30 degrees and the snow was starting to come down. The boys would have stayed longer, but mom and dad wimped out after 10 minutes.
Unfortunately, we had to cut our trip short as a storm blew in and we didn't want to hang around and see if the predicted 4-9 inches of snow arrived.
