Christmas 2015

We had a very laid back and enjoyable Christmas this year.  It was the first time since Darren and I got married that we spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning at home.

Luckily, for Christmas Eve, we had some family over.  Lindsay and her family joined us, along with Grandma Cathy and Grandpa Joel and Grandma Lu.  We made some cookies for Santa, which got a little messy.  Uncle Scott tricked Caleb into touching his hair when his hands were covered in flour...Caleb loved it.  We didn't document much more, but we enjoyed an easy dinner, a short nativity re-enactment where Mary(Kate) and Joseph(Caleb) fought over who got to hold baby Jesus, and an epic Nerf war.  It was an awesome evening!

 Then Santa came that night!
Santa brought Noah a wiggle bike and other goodies . . .
And Caleb got a big boy bike.  Now he just needs to learn how to ride a bike without training wheels!
Christmas morning was surprisingly calm.  Both boys did great waiting for each other to open presents.  And they even let us take a break to eat breakfast - never expected that to happen.
Noah loved the little finger lights he found in his stocking.
And both boys liked their sticker books Santa gave them.
Overall, it was a tremendous Christmas morning.
That afternoon, we headed up to LuAnn's for her Christmas festivities.  Noah obviously liked all the gifts he got!  We had lunch, exchanged gifts, and Grandma sang carols with the grandkids.  It was a fun afternoon.

Grandma Lu came by the next day to see what the boys had gotten for Christmas.  Noah loved sitting down with her and reading some of his new books!
Christmas was great, but I'm glad its over and doesn't happen for another year!
