Back in February, Caleb found that one of his teeth was a little wiggly. At first he was super giddy and got all excited and begged for me to pull it out. Darren and I played along and laughed so hard because he was just so darn happy about it. After one tug he was done. The smiles were gone and he basically didn't let us near his tooth for about 10 days.
Finally, one night Darren was able to convince Caleb to let him pull it out - the tooth was hanging on by maybe 1 root and it needed to come out. It took at last a half an hour for Caleb to calm down enough to let Darren have a go at it. Darren reached in and yanked it right out and Caleb asked when Dad was gonna pull his tooth :) Guess Darren did such an awesome job that Caleb didn't even feel it.
So, there we go. The Tooth Fairy made its first visit to our home and Caleb keeps checking his other teeth in hopes that she can visit again soon.
The awesome tooth pillow was made courtesy of Grandma Cathy . . . she saw that I was having him use my old tooth pillow she also made that had lace edging and I guess that wasn't acceptable for a 5 year little boy!!
