We spent Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa's house with Lindsay and Emily and their families (and not taking one single picture).
It was a fun night filled with good food, fun, and cousin time!
The next morning, though, was all about being home together, just us.
The boys were so excited for Christmas morning - Caleb woke up at 3am and did not go back to sleep, which meant Mom didn't get much sleep after 3am either.
Caleb's big gift this year was a Soda Stream.
He's LOVING it.
Noah's big gift is the punching bag.
It's definitely already received some doozies.
Even Max got a little gift from Santa this year!
On to opening presents!
After everything was opened, and the dishes from breakfast were washed . . . Mom remembered that Santa had left her a gift in her bedroom of new pots and pans. Whoops!
That afternoon, we were supposed to get together with the Downs side of the family. Alas, Brandon and Janessa tested positive for COVID, and they had spent the previous evening with LuAnn and Danielle therefore exposing them. So we had to call off the get together - but thank goodness for technology!! We all got on Facetime and watched each other open family gifts and it was great!
And then, instead of heading up to the cabin, like we had planned, the boy wanted to go hang with the cousin's at Grandma and Grandpa's house instead.
