For Deacon's camp this year, they headed backpacking up to Lake Alice in Wyoming.
And Darren got to join Caleb at camp.
Which meant we had to gear up for both of them because we did not own much backpacking gear.
In the end, I believe Caleb's pack was about 21 pounds and Darren's was 35 pounds!!
But they made it and had a great time hiking and hanging around camp.
While Darren and Caleb were off at Deacon's camp, I took Noah and some of his buddies up to the cabin for a night.
We went to Smith and Morehouse Reservoir to paddle board and play in the water.
The boys didn't last long - the water was freezing and the wind picked up - but at least they tried it.
But they had a great time at the cabin playing pool, on the Wii, shooting hoops, and making s'mores.
