Earlier this summer, some friends of ours asked Darren and me to do the Lotoja Relay with them. For some crazy reason, we agreed. Even crazier, the ride was the Saturday before we left for almost 2 weeks to the Mediterranean - we would only be home for like 3 days before disappearing again. But we went for it!
We survived and finished the relay 30 minutes before the course was to be shut down. Darren rode 95 miles in 6 hours and 18 minutes and climbed 6200 feet!! Marni rode 47 miles in 2 hours and 40 minutes.
It was definitely an adventure.
