Fun Stuff

Well, its been a busy couple of weeks. A few weekends ago, Darren and I put in a temporary fence so that Molly could play in her backyard without having to have some kind of leash on.

You can sort of see the fence in the background in this picture. You can at least see the 3 foot tall stakes we used for the fence.

Molly LOVES it. Darren and Molly play catch all the time now .

Molly's gotten really good at bringing the ball back. When she brings the ball back to Darren, she always comes from behind and in between his legs. (very cute . . . and talented.)


Memorial Day weekend was a busy one for us. Friday night we
hung with my family (my sister Lindsay and her family were in town. Saturday we visited graves with Darren's family. Then on Sunday, we headed up to Logan to visit some old friends. We met the Muirs when we lived in our apartment in Centerville. They moved to Logan a few months before we moved into our house. But we've stayed in touch and went up there to get away for a night.
The plan was to go on a great bike ride Monday morning. Alas, the weather was rainy so we had to nix the ride. But in the early afternoon, the clouds cleared briefly, so Paul and Darren braved the elements and hit the trail. They were covered with mud when they came back - but they felt pretty tough. I think Darren was pretty proud of how dirty his bike actually got.
