Busy summer

Darren and I have been keeping busy so far this summer. Beyond working on our yard, we have taken up playing tennis. As some of you know, I played tennis in high school and its been such a blast picking the sport back up. Darren is a natural at it and improves each time we play - he'll be beating me soon.

Darren's been wanting to go on a hike since it started getting warm. We finally found time to go on one last Saturday. We hiked Adam's Canyon which is east of 89 in Layton. It was an absolutely beautiful day for it. And after hiking in a little over an hour, you are rewarded by this great waterfall. I never really thought about Utah having waterfalls . . . this one was pretty cool for being in the middle of a canyon.

ah, sounds like you guys are having fun. I'm sure you are just so happy to be playing tennis!!! I suck at it, so I don't play. Roller hockey on the other hand...I'm good at. Just kidding. I haven't played that since you and I were roommates when we use to just try to beat each other up chasing the puck!Oh the good old days!!!

I'd like to see Darren take you in tennis... I remember you not even letting my sad, sad beginner tennis player self hit something past you to help out my ego.

You must really love the guy.

Jealous that you are able to get out into the outdoors...just think of us in this unbearable heat just melting away.

Sounds like a fun summer. I just end up getting mad at Scott for kicking my trash in tennis. Looks like a beautiful hike ya'll went on. I love exploring. We have been doing more of that too.
