It's Christmas morning and Darren is resting and recovering from the 5th cycle of chemo he received yesterday. It's crazy to think he only has one more cycle of chemo to go and then we are done with it. Darren was feeling good enough last night for us to have a little Christmas celebration . . . we looked through our stockings and enjoyed our simple Christmas tree.
We (yes, Darren helped) made some Christmas goodies this past weekend to hand out to friends and neighbors. It was actually pretty fun having Darren in the kitchen with me - he was in charge of putting the sprinkles on.
I'd like to give a little shout out to our puppy, Molly, who turned 1 year old this week. She's matured into a great dog and we love her (most of the time :) )

Where's my cookie plate?
Hope this round of chemo is gentle on Darren's stomach.
Merry (ok a bit belated I know) Christmas! I'm so happy to hear that Darren is doing well. Troy had his treatment on the 22nd so we feel your pain with having the treatment so close to Christmas but at least the chemo is doing its job! We hope you have a blessed New Year!
