Well, Darren always said that our day would come and it did. We are officially the parents of a beautiful baby boy and we couldn't be more excited and grateful than we are. We were so blessed to find a situation with a sweet birthmother who knew that we could provide a good life for her little one.
We apologize that we kept all this so quiet, but we wanted to wait until it was legal and done before we proclaimed our good news. You may ask how did this all come about? Well . . . that's a long story for another blog entry. But the quick summary is that we found an online posting for an adoption situation on Sept 22nd, flew out to Baton Rouge on the 23rd, and watched our baby boy be born on Sept 24th. It was obviously meant to be and we know the Lord was leading us to this little spirit.
We can't believe how blessed we are and can't wait to bring him home!

Congradulations. I am so happy for the two of you. I had a feeling this was the one. I had a feeling when I talked to you that I have never heard before. I am so excited to see him. What a cute name you have picked out for him. Have a safe trip home and I am looking forward to meeting this little man!!
