March Madness

It's been a busy month for the Downs family so far. At the beginning of the month, we all flew down to Houston for a week. Darren's company decided to open an office there (no, we are not moving) so we went down to check out office space, etc. While Darren was working, me and Caleb got to play with family. While down there, it was my nephew Zach's 3rd birthday and Caleb got to attend his first real birthday party!!

We stayed with my younger sister Lindsay while in Houston. Her 2 boys kept Darren busy by getting him to pass Angry Birds levels for them on the iPad . . . that earned him some cool uncle points.

Like last time we visited Houston, Kate and Caleb were connected at the hip. They would sit and watch Elmo together and eat their snacks after nap time. Unfortunately for Kate, Caleb still doesn't understand most of her requests like "Caleb, here, now!!"


My older sister, Emily, and her kids drove up to Utah for Spring Break last week. It gave me and Caleb the chance to go to the cabin while Darren was out of town visiting clients. Luckily, it was warm enough to play in the snow!! Unfortunately, I'm horrible about taking pics and didn't get any of all the cousins playing around. But thanks to Caleb's cousin Shea who was such a big help to me and played with Caleb for me!!



Caleb wanted to help clean before we left the cabin - the vacuum rarely left his sight. That boy is OBSESSED with cleaning tools and I really mean OBSESSED.

As always, he loves his Grandpa.
