Easter 2011

Easter 2011 came a week early this year. Darren and I were going to be out of town on Easter so we celebrated a week early. And thankfully, Grandma Downs was willing to move the annual Easter egg hunt at her house to a week earlier (Thank you!).

So, the Easter Bunny brought Caleb a kitchen! He LOVES it. And he'd better, that thing was a beast to put togther - I'm talking hours and hours. I would never do it again (I'm sure I'll eat those words at some point in the future).



After Caleb examined all his goodies courtesy of the Easter Bunny and mom and dad, we headed up to Grandma's for the Easter egg hunt. Unfortunately, it had rained all that morning so . . . the Easter egg hunt got moved indoors. Caleb actually started to get the idea of the hunt after a while. Then Grandma Downs gave him an Easter bucket of goodies . . . books, finger puppets, clothes and candy of course which Caleb focused on :) (I'm too lazy to upload the videos we took of the Easter egg hunt at this point . . . maybe I'll add them later :) )




Then, while Darren and I were away on Easter and my parents were watching Caleb, they gave him a vacuum. He was in Heaven. According to my mom, he didn't touch any other toy that day.

I'd say Caleb had a pretty good Easter!
