Pioneer Day 2013

Noah was introduced to multiple things this past Pioneer day.  We had some friends over for the holiday and they mentioned they'd started geo-caching.  We'd never done it before and they mentioned there was a location right down the street so off we went.  Noah just chilled in his wagon - what a way to ride.
Caleb was pretty excited to see what was hidden in the capsule and to switch out the toy hidden inside.

Noah also got to see fireworks for the first time.  We were at my parents cabin for the 4th and fireworks weren't allowed.  So we let the boys stay up way past their bedtime and we did fireworks with friends in our neighborhood.  Good times . . . and grouchy boys the next day.

We also introduced corn on the cob into Noah's knowledge of foods and he absolutely loved it!  He and Darren were racing to see who could eat it the fastest.
Last, but not least, Darren broke out the poppers.  At first Noah was a little hesitant but that didn't last for long.  He was pretty upset when they were all popped and done.  Until next year . . .
