Easter Weekend 2014

We had a fun filled Easter weekend!!  Friday night we had some friends over and dyed our eggs.  Both Noah and Caleb got in on the action . . . and were definitely the most messy of the group (as always).  I do look forward to the future where the kids actually decorate the eggs and it takes more than 5 minutes to dye a dozen eggs :)

On Saturday, we headed to Grandma Lu's house for the annual Easter egg hunt and family dinner.  We got to the party first so the boys got a little solo time with Grandma.

Grandma Lu has it all organized to a tee - every person (adults included) has a specific egg color for them to find.  We know how many eggs to find and she keeps a list of what's in the eggs so we know what's missing!
Noah had tie dyed eggs this year . . .
And Caleb got to find green eggs - his fav color right now

Then Grandma has a goodie basket for the grandkids filled with all sorts of fun stuff!  Treats, a new outfit, bubbles . . . all the good stuff.
Last of all was a family picture.
Silly, silly.
After Grandma's, we headed home to get ready for the Easter bunny.  The boys got to prep their baskets so the Easter Bunny could hide them.  We even left out some carrots and water for the weary bunny.
Easter morning was actually pretty relaxed.  The boys were pretty content just taking their time . . . unit they found their hidden Easter baskets . . . then the excitedness picked up.

Before we knew it, it was time to get ready for church.  We got the boys all dressed up and got some good pictures in.

Giving his brother a kiss :)

The boys wanted to do a silly picture like we did at Grandma's the previous night.  Mom went a little too intense with the silly face!
Happy Easter 2014!
