Grandpa Joel's Cabin

We headed up to my parents cabin again this last weekend . . . or as the boys call it, Grandpa Joel's Cabin.  Caleb tells me that he wants to live there and just hates leaving it!  We had terrific weather on Saturday - we were able to go on rides and play at the river and go on the swings and slide.  And, of course, we had to find the big machinery that is always somewhere in the neighborhood up there.  Caleb and Noah both love these "construction machines" as Caleb calls them.

The river was cold and high - but that didn't stop Caleb from playing in the water!
View from the back porch.  We love seeing all the wildlife.  While there this weekend, we saw at least a dozen deer, a few moose, and two elk darting across the road.
Even though its warm now, the boys still love to go sit in Grandpa's Snowcat.  Caleb has to be the driver - luckily Noah is content to be the passenger :)

A little Music and the Spoken Word on Sunday morning
The boys love to sit on the ATVs and pretend that they are driving. . . the scary part is that they both know how to turn the machines on.  Thankfully, they haven't done that . . . yet . . .
