We finally had to make a visit to Urgent Care! It's been a long time coming - with 2 very energetic boys, we both figured it would have happened sooner.
Noah had one of his friends over . . . they were chasing each other through the house and as they entered the kitchen . . . Noah lowered his head to run faster and ran straight into the kitchen counter corner . . . and the blood started gushing.
He was such a trooper during the whole thing. He cried, of course - but he also held the wash cloth to his own bleeding forehead for the drive to the doctor. And he was so still as they put 7 stitches in his forehead. The doctor was amazed - he figured they were going to have to send us to the hospital so Noah could be put to sleep while they did the stitches because normally kids can't sit still long enough and deal with the pain of only a topical analgesic. Noah was AWESOME.
