Easter 2022

We kicked off Easter weekend by making a fun treat, Easter Bunny bums.  

The boys did a great job decorating the cookies, but only lasted a couple of cookies which meant that I had to do the rest . . . 

Egg decorating followed our cookie decorating session.

We thought we'd try something new this year instead of dyeing eggs - 

we got a couple of the egg spinners and the kids (and Dad) had a blast!

The boys and Dad each had their own strategies and ideas on how to do the best egg :)

Easter morning when you have church at 9am is a little harried.

The boys took forever finding all the eggs (which they demanded to be hid "super hard").

Then they took forever finding their baskets (which had the same demand as the eggs).

But they were both happy with their baskets and all the fun treats inside.

Then we were off to church!!

And then after church, family came over for the lunch and the annual Easter Egg Hunt.

The kids, as old as they're getting, still love to do Grandma's Easter Egg Hunt.
