We had a lovely Easter weekend.
On Saturday, we had the Downs side of the family over for lunch and games.
Thankfully we didn't plan anything outside as it was still sooooo cold.
We always have so much fun playing Jack Box games with this crew - I think that's Caleb and Noah's fav thing to do with the family.
Saturday night we decorated eggs.
I love that the boys don't miss dyeing eggs - this whole marker thing is so much cleaner!
On Easter morning, instead of just hiding their baskets and them trying to find them, we did a scavenger hunt with clues leading them to their basket. Guess we started a new tradition!
Not a bad haul for Easter!
This year for Easter, we did try to focus more on the real reason we celebrate Easter.
Every night during the week leading up to Easter Sunday, we discussed what had happened during the last week of the Savior's life. It definitely made an impression on me.
