Day 5
Day 4
When we met with the doctor on Wednesday before his chemo session, we learned a couple of things. The good news - Darren's bone marrow biopsy came back negative which means the lymphoma hasn't spread to his bones. We also learned that his white blood cell count is low which means that after each chemo session, Darren has to get a Neulasta shot (a very expensive shot that luckily our insurance covers). The neulasta stimulates bone marrow growth and increases white blood cell counts. Other than that, the doctor said Darren is doing great and that the tumor will continue to shrink.
Darren has been a good sport with me wanting to take pictures and document this time in our lives. I don't know if I would be so willing. I know we've said it a ton, but thanks again to everyone for their prayers and thoughts.

Darren looks great with a shaved head if I may say so.
That is great news, Darren. I hope this treatment flys by and that the cool shaved head never goes away.
It was great seeing both of you a couple of weeks ago!

We were just blog stalking and that is how we found out. I must agree with Chugg, baldness=sexy. Tell Marni she's a lucky woman. You guys are in our prayers and hearts. Viel Gluck.
