Sweet Ride
Yesterday, Darren and I got the chance to go snowmobiling with my parents up around Mirror Lake on the Utah/Wyoming border. It was a gorgeous sunny day. They are buidling a cabin up there and it is moving along great. Hopefully later this year we will get to go spend lots of time at it. (Not to mention helping my parents lay sod, put in sprinklers, etc.) In addition to the snowmobiling, we got to go crusing in their snowcat.
What a crazy machine that is. As you can see in the pictures, Darren got to drive around in it and he was loving it. I didn't think Darren could ever be happy driving under 20 MPH until now.
He is looking forward to next winter and exploring the area up there. The "cat" pretty much goes where it wants. He also loved the chance to snowmobile as he would punch it - hitting 60 -70 mph and then have to wait for me to catch up as I am a wimp when it comes to speed on those contraptions.
Overall it was just a great day to enjoy the snow, the sun, and the beauty of the area up there.
