2. How old are you? And he replies "2"
Yup, my little man is now 2. Where have the last 2 years gone?? Darren and I look at each other all the time now and question how big he is - how he is so grown up and independent. Crazy - that's all I can say.
So, we had a birthday party for my little man and I'm pretty sure he had a blast. His party was a week ago and he is still asking for cake and pizza . . .
I didn't mean for the party to become Elmo themed . . . but that's what it turned into. So, Caleb had an Elmo cake and an Elmo pinata. We prepped Caleb all week for the pinata saying that he could hit the pinata with a bat but that is the only thing to hit with a bat. So all week he walked around the house saying "hit", "bat", and "hurt".
I tried to show Caleb how to hit the pinata with the bat . . .
It obviously didn't stick . . .
Thanks to our family and friends who came out to share the day with Caleb! What a lucky little boy he is!

Some of the older kids couldn't let the Elmo pinata go in the trash in peace . . . they kept going at it with the bats and tearing his limbs off. So we had to document their Elmo destruction.
