Woo hoo for cousins. Texas cousins, Kate and Alyssa, came to visit for a week in July 2021.
Whenever the cousins come to town, we always have to go to Hires for hamburgers - its Grandpa's favorite.
And there is always lots of swimming at G & G's house.
Grandma, Linds and I even took the kids to see The Sound of Music at an outdoor amphitheater.
The kids made us stay for the whole thing . . . I think it finally ended around 11pm!!!
The best part of the visit was the chance to go see the old Cardall cabin.
It's actually just up the street from our cabin.
When I was a kid, we would come to Utah every summer and come to this old cabin.
I have great memories of being here with my cousins and playing in the river.
It was fun for my kids to get to see what a "real rustic cabin" is and to play in the same part of the river I used to do with my siblings and cousins.
