Vegas, Baby!

We are a couple years late, but we finally celebrated Lindsay's 40th birthday by heading to Las Vegas for a few days!!
She's our last 40 year old, which means we'll have to find another reason for our girl trips instead of using our 40th birthdays . . .
Mom and I flew to Vegas together and met up with the other three . . . who had kept themselves amused taking selfies at the Apple Store!

We ate some amazing food over the couple of days - including our favorite place which we hit a couple of times.

We walked through all the fancy lobbies of the hotel casinos.
In fact, we walked soooooo much every day - like more than 25,000 steps.

Lindsay and Emily always make us swag for our trips!

We went and saw a show every night - first was David Copperfield.
Sorry to say it was a little disappointing . . . and a little weird.

I don't have any pictures from our middle day.  We shopped and ate.
We went and saw The Beatles by Cirque Du Soleil - it was trippy but amazing.

We also did a day excursion out to the Hoover Dam.
It was really fun - Emily didn't know it, but she signed us up for a comedy tour.
Seriously, the tour guide is a stand up comic and would do short sets for us as we were driving on the bus.  It was actually really fun.

The state line.

Our last show was Carrie Underwood - which was the whole reason why Lindsay chose Vegas.
Lindsay sent us the song list for the concert so we could know the songs.
It was a great performance and she really does have amazing legs.!

We had a great few days together and can't wait for the next girls trip!
