Cabin times two

Last week, Caleb and I had the chance to go to 2 cabins! We headed up to my parents cabin for a couple of days with my younger sister and her family. And then the same day we got home, we turned around and headed out to Bear Lake with some friends. It was a tiring 5 days, but we had a blast! Kate and Caleb were pretty tight this time around. There was quite a bit of hand holding and showing affection.

Then we were off to Bear Lake. You wouldn't know it based on the pictures, but I was on this little mini-vacation also :) Caleb and dad building sandcastles and playing in the COLD water. Kids don't seem to mind the cold, but I know Darren did!

We rented a canoe and a paddle boat for a little bit while there and the kids loved them. I think we were lucky that the canoe never tipped - Caleb isn't the best at sitting down for sitting still!!

Caleb and his friend. We were out for a nice stroll around the neighborhood in Bear Lake and they decided they'd had enough strolling and wanted to sit on the rocks. This was their effort at making faces at the camera.

Summer is just disappearing so quickly . . . must mean we are having a fun and busy summer!
