Christmas 2024

A few days before Christmas, we tried something new this year - instead of a gingerbread house, the boys built Oreo houses.
It was a pretty handy dandy little kit.
I think the boys ate more of the frosting than they used to "glue" the house together.
And I didn't even get any pics of the finished project.  Oops.

Noah and his basketball team participated in a Christmas bball tournament.
And they won!!
Noah wore his ring around for the next few days.

On Christmas Eve, we celebrated with a crab leg dinner.
Messy but delicious.

Then the boys had to open the PJs they get from Grandma Cathy every year.
Every year, Grandma Cathy says she isn't doing PJs anymore, but she keeps doing them.

Then Santa came and filled the boys stockings.

And Santa brought them both a Jetson - a small ebike to jet around the neighborhood on.

The ebikes were a hit Christmas morning.
Santa did good.

After a quick breakfast and opening presents, we had the chance to go and do some service.
Through Darren's work partner, we learned of an opportunity to help feed the homeless on Christmas Day.  The boys weren't exactly excited to leave their new things at home and head to Ogden, but it turned out to be such a great thing.  The boys said we could do it again next year.
