3rd Grade Wax Museum

Caleb has been working towards this day for months!  In 3rd grade, they do a Wax Museum.  It takes months of preparation from picking which historical (deceased) American they want to represent, to reading books about them, planning out their costumes, and writing and memorizing their scripts.

If you can't tell, Caleb chose Albert Einstein (who, as we learned in Caleb's research, was originally a German citizen, but became an American citizen later in life).

Of course I neglected to get a picture of the entire scene, but picture hundreds of 4th graders, in costumes, in the school cafeteria reciting their lines.  It was crowded and loud, but Caleb was a trooper and did awesome.  We visitors got to walk around and if we wanted to hear someones speech, we just had to clap twice and the "wax figure" would come to life, recite their lines, and then go still again.  There were a few other Albert Einstein's in the crowd - but my Caleb was the cutest!!
