For some reason, the boys have had random early out days on Mondays this year. So when we had one the Monday before Spring Break, we took advantage of the extra couple of hours and went for a hike. We headed up to Farmington Canyon where we heard there was a "car graveyard". It was me, Caleb, Noah and Noah's friend, Boston. And I even got more ambitious and brought Max along.
Maybe the not so smart idea on my part was that a storm was blowing in but I figured we could make it in time . . .
We were doing pretty good and the boys kept asking to go further . . .
By the time we turned around, the wind was howling and the temperature was dropping.
We hiked back at a pretty accelerated pace 😅
We made it to the car and as we were driving away, it started to pour. Phew.
We wore Max out.
