Maui Day 5 & 6

Caleb had made friends with the family staying below us in the condo.
They told him of an awesome beach to boogie board at and he recruited Grandma to help him find the beach.  He couldn't remember the name of the beach, only that it started with an F.
After not being able to find it, turns out we found it by accident as it was the beach that we had lunch at the other day, D.T. Fleming beach.

So on Tuesday morning after breakfast, we loaded up a cooler and a picnic lunch and headed to D.T Fleming beach.  And it was a great boogie boarding and body surfing beach!  Caleb was a natural at boogie boarding . . . it took Noah a little longer, but once he figured it out, he loved it and was at it for hours!!  Caleb on the other hand, lasted for about 20 minutes and then played in the sand the rest of the time we were there.  Unfortunately for Noah, I did not realize that a rash guard would have been greatly appreciated by him - his stomach was pretty torn apart and raw from all the boogie boarding on his stomach.  Poor kid.

Once we hit our beach overload - it got hot and was still incredibly windy (so no beach umbrellas would stay up), we headed home to the pool and the calm beach there.

Then we had to clean up because Tuesday night we had a luau booked!
The Feast at Lele turned out to be so great.
They brought all the food to you - no buffet.
We tried food from 5 different cultures.
It was right on the beach.
It was Caleb's favorite thing we did in Maui.

Day 6 was spent completely at the Hona Kai resort where our condo was.
We swam, relaxed, headed to the beach, swam at our pool . . . just a day to chill.
We got take out from a Mediterranean  place near the resort - pizza and salads.
And ended it with Grandpa and Noah heading down the beach for the sunset.
Grandpa got some amazing photos of Noah at sunset throwing rocks in to the ocean,
