After a long break from traveling due to COVID, we decided to take the boys to Maui for Spring Break. Grandma and Grandpa Richards came along for the ride too! Thankfully, unlike our last trip to Hawaii where our flight got delayed a day, we had no bumps or delays on our way there! Everything went pretty darn smoothly to get there.
On the first day there, we decided to just hang around the resort, get the lay of the land, and let the kids swim at the pool and check out the beach. Our condo was awesome - it had an amazing patio where we ended up spending so much of our time. We could sit up there while the boys were down swimming in the pool. It was amazing.
We did take a break from exploring to find some lunch and let the boys get some shaved ice.
Then it was time to go to the beach and check it out. Noah is our beach boy - he can be content playing in the water on the beach for HOURS.
After a day of swimming, we found a food truck gathering and got some awesome food. You can't tell from the picture, but it was SUPER windy (just look at Grandma's hair). And as we were leaving, it started to rain pretty hard and it had only sprinkled on us.
Then we went back to our condo, the boys swam some more, and then we settled in to watch a movie. It was a great first day.
